The Realm of the Woods

The deepest soul, the purest heart, and the calmness of mind. Nothing has been so true to the clarity of it all. You find this solitude where there is no disruption to the stillness. The wind whispers softly to your gentle ears, and you feel the earth move in many directions. Therefore, you dance to the vibrations. When she moves, she does it with grace. That’s the captivity of the mind being released with the earth liberating the endorphins of the body. That free spirit is no longer lost. She is found where she always belonged. She runs wild in the woods with the animals, The Savage is what they call her as she does not take part in societies games. She's a strong believer in the old religion where freedom lies, where gratitude is within and not just words. She is hard to love because she doesn’t believe in being tamed but rather being true to herself. As she walks in the waters, the birds fly around her to remind her how free and beautiful she is.

As she ran free through the bush as the Alpha of the pack, she knew she was safe. She has a love for nature that could never be replaced by any other. She is the girl in the book that everyone reads about and wants to learn her story. However, she doesn’t play by the rules, she makes them. She lives her days as they go by. The ones that know her claims she is just as pure as the first snowfall, broken like the sand beneath her feet and quiet like the whispers of the wind. Never knowing how a girl can be so scared of the game called life yet be as strong as she is. She has always been guided by the immortality of the soul that once has been taken away from her. Longing to have a soul next to her where she doesn’t have to speak for that soul to understand what she is going through but to learn the language of her body. Embracing her natural beauty within and loving her unconditionally.

Entering a realm that was built for her away from society has always been rejuvenating for her. It is so therapeutic that she does not return to society until she is completely healed within. With the enjoyment to breathe life again in its’ authentic form, she has never felt so at home. With that one moment when she speaks her voice is so soft and blissful that the trees bloom from the exterior, flowers have grown where they were never seen before and the grass has taken over the sandy parts. True beauty.

But at one point in life, society has broken this once upon a time, a strong and courageous girl. The decisions she had to make to save herself from being caged to the man’s inhumanity. She slowly became quiet as no one listened. She carefully became distinct to the world, and not a soul even noticed her disappearance. She learned to rely on herself and to avoid any means of support as there was judgment. Even at one point, a brave soul tried to walk beside her and hold her hand through this turmoil. That “once upon a time strong, courageous girl” was slowly coming out of her shell but didn’t know how to handle society anymore. That deep soul, the pure heart, and the calm mind were slowly learning the ropes all over again , but her shutdown and being frightened made some unconscious decision. Not learning the ropes fast enough or adapting to society all over again. That brave soul walked away in despair and broken. That’s where she learned she was hard to love once again and that the only pure love she would ever have would be in the book of the realm of the woods.
